Hi everyone, I own a new Lenovo Ideapad B50 with Freedos and Windows 10 on DVD. I’m trying to boot from the DVD to install Windows 10 but haven’t found a way. The boot menu shows something different—pressing Fn+F10 starts loading, but instead of the installation screen I see my current setup. Anyone have any suggestions or tips?

Extract a file from the DVD onto another computer and employ Rufus to generate a bootable USB stick.

You might want to switch to UEFI boot settings for a smoother experience. Try the FN-F12 repeatedly—it can be finicky. If your system doesn’t support Media keys instead of F-keys, you’ll have to use F12 directly.

Freedos? I meant Cheetos, not Fritos! [edit] Please note, I can't help with that.
