4670K doesn't allow vt-d by default. Other virtualization tools also have issues.

This requires Vt-d or AMD-Vi to enable virtual processes on physical CPUs. Without these instruction sets, virtualization can't proceed. It doesn't work just with VT-x and AMD-v, except for VMware which can manage it with extra resources. Benchmarks would fail in nested virtual machines, and overall performance would drop significantly, particularly in high I/O scenarios.

I assumed Linux-KVM needed VT-d, but it turns out I was mistaken. I didn’t use Linux-KVM for a while now. Thanks for catching that!
