This indicates that no UEFI certificates could be imported for module signature checks. If secure boot is off, it's ignored; if enabled, turn it off. Edit grub similarly to the modeset but omit quiet and splash options. Check the issue location.

I attempted to turn off secure boot and eliminate the quiet splash, but it didn’t work for nomodeset.

It doesn't work well with your NVMe storage, so add the line nvme_core.default_ps_max_latency_us=5500 at the same spot where you modified the grub boot settings. The issue should be gone except for a small warning.

Also consider setting acpi to off in grub if it isn't resolving the issue.

This version uses an older kernel, which may cause issues with newer hardware. I experienced problems getting my 5700 to show on multiple monitors. With AMD GPUs, drivers come pre-installed in the kernel, so updating to kernel 5.3 resolved the issue. The 19.10 release could work better with a newer kernel.
