Setting up the memory module without a signal
Setting up the memory module without a signal
Hello everyone, I recently purchased some new RAM for my desktop that's been with me for about 2-3 years. The model I ordered matches the one I've used since the PC was built: Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB (2x4GB) DDR4 DRAM at 2400MHz. At first, when assembling the PC, the system only recognized the slots when placed side by side. I experimented with alternating slots and checked the color coding, but it didn't help. I installed the RAM in slots 4 and 2 initially, and everything worked fine then. Recently, I tried fitting the new RAM into the remaining slots, but no signal appeared. The PC powers on, fans spin, yet my monitor remains unresponsive. I rearranged the slots a few times, but nothing changed. All slots are working properly, and none of the sticks seem faulty. My motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-B250M-DS3H. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
