Hello everyone! I'm nearing completion of my gaming PC setup, but I'm eager to enable ARGB on my CPU fan. The fan model is SE-224-XT ARGB V2 from idcooling.com. I've tried using both Asus Aura and the manual wire connection, but neither works. The Asus Aura doesn't recognize the fan, and the manual wire lacks a compatible port on my motherboard. Please help me out—I really appreciate your assistance!

Yes, the ARGB cable is connected to this port. If Aura isn't recognizing it, consider using OpenRGB or another RGB control app.

You're selecting the ASUS Aura because it doesn't match your current setup. The PCPartPicker lists a Gigabyte board, so you should opt for Gigabyte's RGB Fusion 2.0 instead.

Yes! There was an additional cable on the heatsink, but I wasn't sure where to install it.

Hey there! It looks like I accidentally swapped AMD and Asus. Thanks for catching that! I appreciate the correction and will make sure to get it right next time.

It seems the CPU cooler lacks an RGB fan, and the referenced board doesn't have an ARGB port. Updated on June 7, 2022 by An0maly_76 – additional details added.

It's fine, you don't need the one with the controller; your motherboard already has the correct port.

It functions well for me too. If you don't like it, that's okay—I didn't. There are other options available, such as OpenRGB.

You just received the file from their gigabyte.data site and it functioned properly! I’ll search for a YouTube tutorial on using the software to activate ARGB instead of just RGB. Thanks!
