Setting up my old storage device on Windows 7.
I recently purchased a Samsung 850 EVO SSD and set up Windows there. I currently have two drives, and when I choose the original HDD as boot priority, a separate Windows profile appears. I need to remove this profile but can’t format the drive because I don’t have a method to back up my Steam files. How can I eliminate the old Windows setup and all related files?
You have the option to relocate everything you wish to retain. Alternatively, you can restart into the SSD and remove all associated files. This method won’t fully eliminate the issue since some remnants remain.
