Yes, it is possible to run Mac OS on a PC. You can use virtualization software to create a Mac-like environment within your computer. This way, you can enjoy Mac OS without purchasing the full system.

Certainly, we can't talk about it in this place.

They probably updated it not too long ago. I think I last saw a Hackintosh discussion get taken over.

We've been supporting the hackintosh community for roughly two years now. Our position is clear: discussing hackintosh itself is acceptable, but focusing on how or where to get a MacOS installation isn't part of our stance.

It might have been a newer update, but it doesn't matter, it's not important.

Unless you already have a Mac, legally obtaining macOS isn’t possible. Physical recovery disks are no longer available, and the software is now sold through the Mac App Store. I used a Mountain Lion DVD for my hackintosh project, but today you’d typically build your own disk using your Mac’s recovery partition. Still, there are alternatives. Linux distributions such as ZorinOS, elementaryOS, Kubuntu, or Xubuntu can mimic macOS’s look and feel. They won’t run native macOS apps or provide the full ecosystem, but they give you a similar terminal experience. The most affordable way to try macOS is by purchasing a used 2014 Mac Mini or 2013 Mac Pro, which support Catalina and Big Sur.

It often takes some time and effort, depending on your setup, and isn't just a matter of luck. If you rely on Google searches, you should be able to locate what you need. It might be feasible to test it in a VirtualBox VM, though I'm uncertain about the extent of my assistance here, given the guidelines.

Yes, it's achievable, though the simplicity varies with your hardware. It's become remarkably straightforward, making it unnecessary to rely on a working Mac or a macOS emulator anymore.
