I'm setting up a system that only clears HDDs, without extra storage for DBan. I have several HDDs available and wondered if it's feasible to run DBan directly on one of them, similar to using a USB drive. It's a very basic task, and I'm not very confident with Linux commands, so I'm unsure what steps would be needed.
If it isn’t part of your responsibilities to manage every disk, you shouldn’t be handling that task at work. If it is your job, management should provide the necessary tools. You can either inform them you require a USB stick for DBan or confirm you don’t need it for your role.
