I understand this forum is meant for tech-savvy users, but this site seems to be the only one I’ve found useful. The XDA developers articles aren’t really helpful. Here’s what I’m dealing with: I use Windows 10 and have a second-gen Kindle Fire HD that’s running Update 10.5.1. It’s rooted, and I need to bring it back to version 7.5.1. How can I do that? Also, I don’t want links to the XDA dev forums. I’m really frustrated with them. Thanks!

You'd need to obtain a ROM for version 7.5.1 and flash it in, or maybe go back to the original build before the updates fix everything.

I'm unable to flash a ROM since I can't install TWRP, which needs 7.5.1. Resetting a Kindle will erase all apps and settings, and it won't revert updates. It seems there might be another method for flashing the ROM.
