There’s no straightforward method to install Windows directly on a blank drive without using another computer. You’d typically need to transfer the ISO file to a USB drive first, then use a live CD or USB installation tool to set it up. While some creative workarounds exist, they often require additional hardware or software.

You can buy a ready-made USB stick from sites like Amazon or Newegg. Otherwise, there’s no shortcut to making an ISO file from scratch.

If it's a blank drive and no access to another pc, then no. You need to get the ISO from somewhere on a USB or DVD. If you're using a company network, you could use network boot, but this needs to be configured on a server.

I know the answer already, but I am interested to see if some smart person has managed to figure out a way! @Naijin No this is a home device so no PXE boot option. although that would still require another device so might aswell just download the ISO. @matt0725 I was actually not aware you could even do that ? but doing it this way means purchasing another copy of windows.

I discovered this item on Amazon without any included key. It’s a Windows 10 USB installer for 16GB drives, though it’s still a bit expensive for the price.

Is this even permissible? I’m not sure I’d rely on a system from an unknown source within another setup. It’s an alternative, though it may not be the best choice.

The only reasonable choice that comes to mind is this.

The only solution seems to be dividing the designated drive and employing an ISO mounting utility.

Visit a library and inquire about using the computer there to create the USB drive. Alternatively, consider doing it at work or school.
