Review bf sales updates. Some recent modems support guest mode, which won’t overload the modem or router. I don’t suggest using the cheapest models.

I manage Guest networks through my router since I rely on it for devices like my air conditioner, which makes me cautious about external network devices. The main concern is WiFi-only operation. Using a dongle might help, but I need to confirm if it maintains isolation from regular wired devices on the main network.
