I've also had to transfer Windows 7 between different hardware setups. You might want to give it a try, but a complete reinstall usually gives better outcomes.

I've experienced the reverse—consistently moved well, yet that's always been Intel. Definitely not advised. It might be disabled, and reactivating it hinges on whether it's an OEM version or retail. The same holds true for a new setup.

When issues arise, apply bootable Paragon Adaptive Restore 2010 to update the operating system for new hardware. The process is quick and resolves the blue screen problem.
