I've been attempting to access a port on my router for a Minecraft server, but every time I try to verify its status online, it shows as closed. I reached out to the IPS, who mentioned all ports are already open, which seems confusing. The router I'm using is a TC7200.U. Any suggestions?

Your provided IP address format is incorrect (please leave it blank). The port should be specified as TCP.

I switched the port to TCP but it’s not resolving the issue. Regarding the remote IP, leaving it blank means no specific address is assigned, which might affect connectivity.

It's simpler to use sites like alternos.org or minehut, and they're completely free.

It would work better on my end, and I can keep it running around the clock without interruptions.

You can simply leave your player offline using an anti-AFK water cycle or a macro—it’s actually quite straightforward.

It's still preferable since the server doesn't encounter issues while loading the chunks.

Ensure your external IP is blank or points to your public WAN address. Confirm you’re using a genuine public IP, not CG-NAT. Check the first two digits of your public IP as displayed by your router.
