Hello everyone. I'm about to install another RAM module to enable dual-channel operation. It's the same 16GB XMP module. Do I need to make any adjustments? Should I reset the BIOS to optimal settings after changing the RAM speed to 3200? Or is it just a plug-and-play setup? Thanks a lot.

Ensure dual channel is activated, typically using slots A2 and B2 as specified in the manual. Verify that XMP is turned on in the BIOS settings.

Confirm the module matches the required specifications. Refer to your motherboard manual for slot color coding if available. Verify BIOS settings to ensure all RAM is detected and operating at appropriate speeds. If supported, choose the compatible XMP timing profile for your memory.

Thanks! The RAM should arrive on Tuesday. I’m checking if it will start up, the same RAM is used, and the module should be placed in slot 4 as specified in the manual.
