3days old only? If its not the factory paste, but just regular stuff out of a tube, you can use it as long as its viscous enough. So yes its fine, no need to even add more if there is enough already.

Check if I have any alcohol for cleaning, otherwise use a small amount of extra Corsair thermal paste.

Wipe away the old residue and spread the fresh coating. When you don’t have new paste, just take the leftover and work with it.
