I purchased an 870 Evo from Samsung. My PC uses Windows 10. I considered switching to Windows 11 on the SSD and then removing Windows 10 later. What’s the best way to do this safely? Thanks.

Yes, you can restart and boot into Windows 10 once the installation of Windows 11 is complete.

Use MiniTool Partition Wizard to divide the drive. Then apply it via Rufus or the Microsoft Media Creation Tool.

Windows 10 is meant for my parents. I need to show them the essentials of version 11. Until then, this version will remain available.

Thank you. I understand how to set up an operating system and create partitions.

Copy the Windows 10 HD to the SSD, start from there, and use the Windows 11 Upgrade Assistant to upgrade.
