Your main PC account is linked to a Microsoft account, but switching it to a local account should work fine. Just ensure the settings are correctly adjusted.

You can quickly remove your Microsoft account by going to Settings -> Accounts. Your email will show a message like breaking the link—just click it and you can easily set up a local PC account. Your data will remain safe on your computer. Good luck!
