You can likely reinstall Windows 10 using the same CD and serial key again. It’s possible to use the same installation media for another system. If your computer is reformatted, you’ll generally need a new serial key to complete the setup.

For the same setup after reformatting, you can reuse the same serial key. If you want to install it on several computers, it won't work. It's limited to a single machine at a time.

No, the key won't work on another computer. Each device has its own unique key.
