Set up Trouble with Windows 7 on a RAID0 configuration
Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2 is connected with the newest BIOS version 2x OCZ Vertex 150 and 240Gb SSDs on ports 2 and 3. Two mechanical HDDs are linked to ports 5 and 6, while a Crucial MX100 512Gb drives are attached to ports 1 and 4. In the BIOS, RAID Board SATA Raid ROM is configured for RAID 0. The system reports all drives as working in the raid utility. The RAID drive is selected as the second boot option, and the DVD drive is first. During the early OS installation via WIN7 OEM, neither SSDs show up in the install options. What should I check?
You've installed the drivers and are seeing the RAID array, but encountering this error suggests a compatibility issue. The link you provided points to adjusting BIOS settings for SATA controllers—switching from enhanced to compatibility mode might resolve the problem. This could relate to differences between UEFI and Legacy BIOS configurations.
