but moving games to a normal HDD will decrease perfomance why would you do something like that
I place the Steam client on my SSD since it causes issues if installed on the main hard drive during a Windows reinstall. Clearing the system resolves the problem, and I can now reinstall Steam while adding my hard drive’s library without any complications. It offers me flexibility—whether I want games on SSD or HDD—it works for both.
I just change the games from my SSD to HD. The game I’m currently playing stays on my SSD. After finishing, I move it to my HD, remove it from Steam, and then transfer the next game I want from HD back to SSD.
You can simply remove it and then download it once more to play it.
