I recently set up a 1.5Gbps down and 1Gbps up connection at home, but because of your landlord’s restrictions, I couldn’t place the router in the office. Now I’m using Wi-Fi 6 and getting about 600Mbps. Can I still get faster internet to another room without a cable?

WiFi 6E available? Consider relocating the router nearer to the office or switching to a more powerful router with 1Gbps speeds for Wi-Fi.

You should use COAX cables and 2.5 MOCA adapters. Line adapters might function, but achieving a stable 1.5Gbps connection is uncertain.

The only drawback of Wi-Fi 6E is needing devices that support it, possibly requiring a new AP from reputable brands like Ubiquiti. They might need to be installed directly, and connecting them via Wi-Fi could result in slower speeds.

I was proposing it as an alternative.

I verified there were no Wi-Fi 6E devices and after confirming the powerline setting, I decided to go with an Ethernet cable.

Yes, currently there are only a few gadgets supporting Wi-Fi 6E. Routers using Wi-Fi 6E will still connect with older devices but will operate at 5GHz only. I planned to recommend installing a cable outside the house and through the window if drilling isn't permitted.=D

I purchased 40 hooks with adhesive for wall mounting and plan to place them discreetly.

With carpet material, push the cable through the seam toward the wall. This method also applies to doorways since the door won’t rub against the cable if you firmly insert it. Just avoid forcing it into a carpet spike strip.
