I understand you're curious about setting up port forwarding and potentially hosting a server on your computer. It's a common question, and yes, you can definitely configure port forwarding to allow external access to services running on your machine. Just make sure you follow security best practices and only enable necessary ports.
They use French, but they take USD payments and they’re confident in English support reps.
They act as a reseller, purchasing server space in data centers and selling it at inflated prices. OVH is one such provider. Companies like NFO might not meet your expectations. OVH also offers free DDoS protection and an unmetered 100mbps connection for VPS plans.
it's more than just RAM; the main performance issue is that all data passes through a single USB controller. There aren't many practical server applications for the PI besides monitoring weather stations and a solar-powered webserver with limited uptime, which only offers a basic uptime visualization.
The pi seems unlikely to manage five players without any adjustments. Including many mods would make it barely functional for just one player. For a reliable shared hosting option, I suggest http://NodeCraft.com. I used them for the first couple of years and later switched to OVH because it better supports growth beyond a single server.
I've been waiting five minutes after reading this just to see if a vanilla server would start on my RPi3, so I think the answer you're looking for is unlikely to improve with mods.
