You can dual boot by installing Linux Mint Cinnamon separately, not alongside it. Just set up both OSes on your computer so you can switch between them.

You can set up both desktop environments in a single installation by choosing a unified setup tool or using a custom installer that merges them. Alternatively, configure your system to run one environment and use virtualization to switch between them.
