Set limits on how data is used within the operating system.
I purchased some NFC tags and thought about attaching one to my Surface Pro to enable Wi-Fi tethering when I’m not connected to other networks. It’s straightforward, and my data plan works well, but I want extra protection. Anyone know how to restrict data usage on Windows 8? Through built-in settings or via third-party tools? I understand my phone can manage browsing limits, but I’m curious if those restrictions apply to a full Windows 8 system.
Not quite what I'm looking for, but it is a good suggestion.
