I attempted to restart the 'Windows Audio Service' via services.msc. After restarting, it stopped and then failed to start again, showing an error code 1068. I searched for solutions on Google and encountered another issue with a dependency service called 'Multimedia Class Scheduler', which returned error 1053. Someone might need to investigate those dependencies or check the audio settings. It’s urgent, so please let me know if you have any ideas!

Launch your PC again if needed, then use the Audio troubleshooter. Click the speaker icon on the taskbar and choose "Troubleshoot sound problem," or open Control Panel, select 'System and Security,' then 'Troubleshoot audio playback.'

Windows offers the option to capture screenshots. You can use Snipping Tools, Press Print Screen to grab the whole screen, or Press Win + Print Screen for a full-screen image saved in your Pictures folder. On Windows 8 and newer, you can also use Shift + Print Screen or Win + Shift + Print Screen to capture active windows.

When no programs appear in the Program and Features panel (or older versions), open Device Manager. Navigate to "Sound, video, and game controller," right-click your sound card, select Uninstall. Confirm "Delete driver software for this device" and click Uninstall. Restart your PC and perform a Windows Update—it should detect and reinstall the drivers. If problems continue, visit the manufacturer’s website for the audio chip or card and install the required drivers manually.

You can start a Windows update by going to Settings, selecting Update & Security, then checking for available updates and installing them.
