Hello, I'm just starting out on the forum and I'm having a bit of trouble with GMod. After downloading the game and installing some mods, I joined a few friends for some random chatter. Steam kept saying "Server is not responding" whenever anyone on my friends list was playing. I tried connecting directly through the console by entering my friend's IP address, but it always led to a loading screen that lasted over a minute before failing. I checked the firewall too, and it wasn't blocking anything. Everyone I've heard from suggested setting up port forwarding, but I don't think I have the right information to do that. Do anyone know how I can fix this issue?
