Server issues during installation on Ubuntu
I tried setting up Ubuntu server multiple times, but each attempt ends with the same error message. The system says it can't install because it's trying to use a storage configuration that isn't available. It seems the 'curtin' tool is causing issues. I'm not sure what to do next.
Ubuntu version, system specs, installer details, storage layout, and target drive all requested.
Version 18.04.3 Hardware includes two six-core x5650 CPUs, 48GB DDR3 1333MHz RAM, and a 15K 146GB HDD RAID 1 setup. The installation layout covers the entire drive without LVM or similar features. Storage device: HDD
Consider using ext4 or explore LVM options. The non-live installer is worth trying—it previously caused some problems for me. Installer type: Live?
Thanks! The LVM and non-live setup are working, and I managed to install Ubuntu properly!
