I don’t understand why my KF2 server and others remain unreachable. I opened ports on my PC using Kaspersky in "packet rules" and trusted the server program. I also checked my ISP—confirming I’m not on CGNat with a static IP—and verified there are no blocked ports. The only remaining issue is that Asus Tech Support said my router doesn’t support game servers, despite explaining they’d need specific hardware. They advised me not to trust them and suggested they push a high-end ROG model instead. I’m still confused and need guidance.
Did a little digging, so here's what I would do: Delete all port forwards you have related to your servers Create one for Steam Query port 27015 on UDP and TCP Create one for TF2 on 27016 UDP (make sure you set the port in the server config to 27016) Create one for KF2 on 7777 and 123 UDP double and triple check your firewall to make sure things aren't getting doubled up The rest of the ports you have are all extra stuff that you probably don't even need open. If you think you need them open then you can do so as a separate line. To be frank I run all my servers on unRaid with their own dedicated dockers or through AMP so I don't typically have to think too much about this stuff. I still have to set up the ports but only for the game server port itself (i.e. 27016 and 7777), never the extra stuff. Give that a try and see.
I left the bitTorrent file assuming it wouldn't cause issues; I made these adjustments visible in the photo, but the KF2 server remains invisible. Could it be related to the tools you're testing? I'm using https://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ and https://www.gametracker.com/search/kf2/.
ORT to do so. Since both games rely on Steam for server queries, they should appear there. If they’re missing, they won’t show anywhere. Using this list will speed up testing because those sites don’t update frequently enough. Regarding the Steam server list: open Steam, select view, then click game servers. Make sure your servers are set up correctly and that your configuration includes your WanIP. This might seem simple, but there could be two issues—your server setup or your ISP restrictions. Your ports should work fine, and your firewall is likely configured properly, so the problem probably lies with your server settings or your internet service provider.
