Before the virus I purchased a case from Free Geek, likely an ATX 4U server rack for $50. It seems suitable as an audio workstation. I also plan to use it for a gaming PC that meets high settings for Anno 1800. To lower power consumption while playing My Little Karaoke—which uses minimal resources—I need confirmation on compatible ATX boards and recommendations for good value. I’m comfortable with older components and don’t require fancy lighting. No issues with using outdated parts. For Windows 7, 8 or 10 (64-bit only), I need an Intel i5 4690k @ 3.5 GHz or AMD Ryzen 5 1500X @ 3.5 GHz processor. The graphics should be NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 (4 GB VRAM) or AMD Radeon R9 290X (4 GB VRAM). DirectX must be 11 or 12, and I require at least 8 GB RAM.
