Is it secure to divide the 9-pin USB port? You recently purchased an AX3000 that uses an internal USB connection without any external hub. The straightforward fix would be to purchase a LAN cable, though you can’t use what’s currently available.

It's safe, that's all. Any of those inexpensive y-adapters should work.
