Hey there, I heard Verizon Cloud didn’t work for you lately. You’re curious if someone else has tried moving the chat from another phone to yours—maybe by exporting and importing. That could be worth checking out. It might seem unusual, but it’s definitely something to explore.

It varies depending on the type of messages—text, SMS, or WhatsApp. Typically, you can move files between devices directly on Android. For backups, using the Google Drive linked to your account is a convenient option.

Texting on an Android device involves sending messages via SMS or a messaging app through the phone's interface.

I've been thinking about this, but it doesn't seem any better than just setting a calendar reminder and saving it myself, or simply avoiding mistakes (long story). I'm planning to test my method tomorrow and will share the results. The approach I'm considering is deleting a chat with your brother, accessing his phone where the messages remain, exporting them, and then trying to import them back.
