I need to send a large number of emails, but without relying on any advanced tools. Someone suggested placing your own email address in the to: line and sending everything to bcc so recipients wouldn't see each other's addresses. Is this the correct method when using only a standard email client?

If "bulk" refers to more than a small amount, you must use a commercial service, or else your mail may go into the spam folder or be completely ignored.
