Last week I changed my processor from the Intel i7-9700K to the AMD Ryzen R7 3700X. The motherboard I had, a Z390 ACE, came in a box and is available for purchase. I missed the small black cover that shields the CPU slot from damage. Because of this, I had to keep the chip inside the slot. Do you have an alternative to the Intel CPU cover? Some people buy both the chip and the motherboard together, while others prefer to choose just one.

cardboard might suffice, but purchasing a fresh one from eBay would be preferable. NOTE: discovered this after searching the link provided.
