I recently received new MouKey bookshelf speakers and a MouKey Dac as a birthday present. I linked them to my PC and everything functioned perfectly, with great sound quality. While playing games, I didn’t encounter any problems or noticeable issues. Over the past few days, however, I’ve started hearing a persistent buzzing noise whenever I play any Steam game. It only occurs during loading screens and sometimes shifts in frequency depending on the menu screen. I’ve tested other game launchers without issues, so I suspect this might have developed over time. Any suggestions? Also, could you explain why this issue seems specific to Steam?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer! You might want to verify your motherboard's BIOS version, check for pending OS updates, and then reinstall your chipset drivers. Could you share the make and model of your PSU along with its age?

I believe BIOS and OS are up to date, but I’ll verify. I’ll also consider reinstalling the chipset. The PSU is an 850-watt EVGA 80+ gold unit. All components, including the PSU, will be about a year old by mid-August from when I installed it last year.
