Hi everyone! I’m relocating next door to my parents and wanted to find the best way to extend Wi‑Fi from my current spot to their new place. Since I can’t run a cable between them, I thought splitting the cost would work well—my parents don’t use the internet much. The router is in the orange window area with an existing wire passage, and the door to my side is marked purple. I’ve looked at the EAP225 from TP Link (link provided), but I’m not sure if it suits this setup. I’m open to other ideas since outdoor networking isn’t my forte. Thanks ahead for your advice!

You cannot use outdoor-rated Ethernet on the wall near the router and your new location.

The easier method is to locate a suitable area in your new home with solid signal strength and install a range extender featuring an Ethernet port. This allows you to link any devices you prefer (wireless controllers, additional extenders, etc.).

I own a mesh setup (link provided) that offers an Ethernet connection up to 300 feet away from another device in the network.
