Hello everyone, currently stable is version 1909 with strong gaming and performance focus. Upgrading to 2004 or 20H2 could offer better performance. It’s worth considering if you want improvements.

I hadn't run into any problems with 2004 and it seemed similar to the 1909 version, although upgrading might be wise if no bugs were left. I wouldn't recommend using 20H2 since they deleted the System Control Panel—attempting to open it would redirect you to the About page in the new Settings app. I favor the control panel over settings and will likely stick with it. One aspect that stands out as a plus for Windows 7 is just personal preference. Source: https://www.howtogeek.com/684812/whats-n...fall-2020/

They often tweak essential options into unclear states. Could you share a screenshot of the updated control panel home screen? Also, check the performance and see if any recent background services were introduced in the latest OS release.

It remains identical; the process redirects you to the Windows 10 settings interface instead of the actual control panel system.
