Hi, I'm planning to build a secondary streaming setup. My main system is an R71700 with a GTX 1050 Ti, which handles gaming well but isn't ideal for streaming. I have two extra PCs available—one with an i5 6400 and another with an Xeon E5 1650. Both will be paired with an RX460 to bypass GPU bottlenecks, using X264 for encoding. I'm looking for a processor with at least 4 cores or 6 cores with 12 threads. I want to keep things similar to what I have now, just swapping in a streaming-focused machine. The PSU for the Xeon might need a fan upgrade since older HP Z420 PSUs are quite loud. Any advice or recommendations would be appreciated, especially tips on PSU upgrades. Thanks!

I ran my streaming setup on an AMD Athlon 3000g with a low-power configuration—two cores, four threads, no GPU, just the onboard iGPU. It handled 1080p at 60 fps on Twitch perfectly. I’d recommend an i5-6400 as a better alternative for its own performance without needing a GPU.

I noticed you mentioned a few overlays, animations, and transitions.
