I rely on a 144 Hz monitor for gaming because I haven't really tested 240 Hz yet, but it seems people don't notice much difference between the two. I mainly play League of Legends and CS:GO, though the League FPS issue is the only problem—sometimes it stutters even with better hardware. Outside of that, I've only used a MacBook and not much experience with higher resolutions. From this talk, I think upgrading my current CPU isn't worth it. Thanks for the help!
