You need to grasp the rhythm and avoid all obstacles until he executes the strike where he crashes to the ground. Dive in for several blows—it works, as it usually takes around ten minutes.

Absolutely effective, my approach is solid. In fact, I’ve used this method before handling multiple apes, but I still need to refine it further.

Right now I'm trapped in a broken monk at the water mill. I have some divine confetti, but it's not enough to defeat him. Do you need a strategy?

From what I recall, you need to stay calm and focus on the parry when it's an easy hit. Then move in and back out to dodge the spinning moves. Try facing him again on a bridge and climb up a tree to catch him there. I really struggle with this game and had to rely on YouTube for tips—like corrupted monk cheese or something similar.
