Why is there an option to die on the resurrection screen? As far as I understand, dragon rot spreads in either direction. Do you know why the "die" button exists? I was planning to defeat a boss but got greedy and was punished—unfortunately, I ended up choosing to end my life.

when testing a boss, avoid wasting a resurrection. Only one charge restocks at an idol; the rest need defeating enemies.

Additionally, if you used up all your gourds and passed away, it might be wiser not to try bringing them back.
