Seems like someone doesn’t understand computers!
I thought I understood the basics of computers, but apparently not! I spent two and a half months in America, so I unplugged everything except the tower and went on vacation. When I got back, I turned it all back on. I used a powerboard for my setup since I'm a Twitch streamer with many monitors, and they still worked. I swapped the power cord to the tower and moved the plug location. I don’t think I’m smart enough to risk touching anything on the motherboard or whatnot, especially since I rely on this computer for work programs and didn’t realize I needed backups. No sounds or movements when I pressed the power button from the fans. PLEASE HELP! Thanks in advance!
I believe the control is located on the back of the machine, inside the power unit but visible behind it—not inside the device itself. Have you experimented by connecting a light bulb or another device to the outlet to verify power availability? Also, make sure the power cable is securely inserted at both ends, firmly attached to the wall and the computer.
yeah have tried, power is on, and cord pushed in all the way.. the external switch is only the power on.. (photo attached - excuse the mess, lawns just got done) a mate said there is like an enlarged battery on the motherboard (which i can see) and changing that might help? I honestly dont even know what that is for.. learning i know a LOT less bout computers than I thought..

It's a massive system and I'm not great at it... but I'll give it a shot when I get home. Just needed to go out for a while anyway.
