I’ll be using Ryzen Master to make the overclocks because it’s straightforward. I checked the BIOS and found a lot of settings, so I wasn’t sure which ones to adjust. The main question is whether regularly changing the overclock impacts the system negatively. For example, my current setting is 1.1V at 3.6GHz, but I’m not sure if that’s optimal.

2. What voltage do I need to run the planned 4.1GHz speed efficiently? Is my current setting of 1.1 enough?

3. When I first powered on, the clock was set to 4.2GHz and the voltage ranged between 1.375 and 1.4V with fluctuations. Those spikes caused CPU temperatures to swing from 38°C to 71°C under light load and up to 87°C during Cinebench 20.

4. Yes, I’m a new Ryzen user. The voltage spikes or surges the CPU experiences are really concerning. I’m worried they could damage the processor. I’ve heard that such spikes can be a major cause of failure. EDIT: After trying only 4GHz with 1.1V, the PC crashed, displaying a black screen and spinning for about four minutes before restarting.
