Hello,
I’m just starting out with overclocking and don’t want to risk my new PC. Instead, I’ll be using the gaming rig I built in 2007. I’ve never overclocked a CPU before and would really appreciate some guidance. I can use this old system for learning purposes. I made a few upgrades to my original rig, but I still don’t fully understand the information I found online. If someone is willing to share a helpful guide, that would be great. Also, please keep in mind I’m very new to this area. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

The attempt to overclock the rig won't improve its ability to run newer AAA titles, even with extreme modifications. A significant upgrade in cooling would be necessary.

Hello,
I’m not a dedicated gamer and my choices are limited. I generally play on an older system at 1080p with low or minimal graphics since I prioritize frame rates. To be honest, my old rig can actually support the games I enjoy, which is a plus. However, I’ve upgraded.

Games I play:
Dirty Bomb – 1080p low or minimal graphics
CSGO – 1080p low
Team Fortress 2 – 1080p Forgot the graphics
Rainbowsix Sige – 1080p Low
Warface – 1080p Low
