Considering a brief assessment, what’s the rationale for selecting an SSD over an NVMe M.2 drive as your primary boot device?

I’d swap out the Samsung 860 Evo for a 970 NVMe M.2; otherwise, it appears satisfactory, although perhaps the 1070 could be substituted with the 2060.

I recognize that costs might increase with these options… however, the M.2 drive shouldn’t be dismissed. Furthermore, you could always opt for an AMD system to achieve a superior value proposition and enhanced long-term viability.
