I own a Deco x55 mesh network and connect it via an optical cable from my ISP.
This setup has remained stable for the past 1.5 years without any problems, but recently over the last couple of months, the connection has experienced intermittent drops lasting just a moment.
While this might seem minor to some, my entire household is filled with gamers, and these brief interruptions disrupt our gaming sessions, making it a significant inconvenience.
I’ve checked my network using a Raspberry Pi and also via Event Viewer on my PC; the drops seem random but occur within roughly 30 minutes of each other in recent days, happening about once to three times daily.
Through reviewing all the configurations on my Deco x55, I haven’t found any settings that resolve the issue.
I contacted my ISP today to confirm my connection status, and they stated their ONT logs show no downtime.
I’m still unsure how to proceed with troubleshooting. The technician suggested plugging a device directly into my ONT to monitor the network, but I’m hesitant about disrupting the whole system for a few days just to verify.
I’ve searched for problems related to my mesh devices, but nothing stands out. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Modem and make and model information can be found in the router's logs, if they are accessible and turned on. Full administrative privileges for the router must be granted by someone else.
