Seek a game where you command and gather monsters with active combat, not turn-based like Pokémon. The protagonist should actively participate in battles as an APG. Ideally, it should support large-scale online multiplayer. While Summoners War Chronicles fits some aspects, its mobile version feels poorly executed and the translation is very bad. You're after a stronger MMO experience, preferably non-mobile but adaptable to your needs.

Genshin Impact might just be the perfect MMO gacha for you, perfectly matching what you're looking for.

Aura Kingdom could be the idea. I recall trying it on Steam in the past, and early on it felt like having a group following me. It wasn't the right match because it's more about characters than an MMO. Some characters include summons in their setups, but they aren't central to combat. As someone who plays later, I've experimented with a Pokémon-style team using named characters just to observe how things work. It seems like a possible fit. I also remember hearing about Azur Promilia, though details are sparse and it's been likened to Genshin x Palworld. No release date is known yet.

It looks like you might have forgotten to include details about the first part of your message. Could you clarify what you're referring to? I'm here to help with any questions or topics you'd like to discuss!

This could match a retro vibe, though I think Sacrifice fits the same style.

As mentioned before, Palworld matches the description well—gather and summon monsters, focus on shooting with real weapons, build bases, and rely on your friends. It hasn’t been tested in multiplayer yet. Remember it’s still in early access, bringing its usual challenges. The newest patch even introduced a raid boss!
