Story time here... I recently began playing Diablo 3 again after the Reaper of Souls expansion was released. While gaming Diablo, I've faced numerous artifacting and crashes on my display. I recall this issue from years ago, though I'm not entirely sure. Essentially, the game suddenly freezes, all three monitors go dark for a brief moment, and the audio becomes distorted and loops. Once it recovers, I can usually keep playing, except when I restart the game. This typically occurs when Chrome is running alongside me. With Chrome open, I often notice tiny flickering spots across the screen, suggesting artifacting and potential crashes before they happen. This happened once during a League of Legends session as well. Once, during Diablo, it repeated for about two minutes and nearly caused my computer to crash. Now that the topic is over, I'm wondering if anyone knows a tool or method to monitor my system during these crashes. Would it help if I tried active debugging to trace the cause? I've already updated drivers multiple times, but the problem persists. My system is an i7 2600K @ 4.5, not trying to lower the clock—maybe it's unstable but stable otherwise. The motherboard is Asus P8Z68 Pro-V GEN3, paired with an EVGA 680 superclone Radeon 7850, used mainly for mining. It's possible the issue is related to that hardware, but I'm not ready to disconnect it just yet.
In reality, it seems there might be some issues needing fixing. I suspect a debugging tool could help, but I'm unsure which one would be effective without more information.
