There are current generation top-level CPUs from Intel and AMD available. It's not necessary to focus on tiny percentage changes; they won't significantly affect real-world use. These models typically offer a lot of RAM. Depending on the virtual machines' requirements, each VM should have at least 8GB, with 16GB being common, while still reserving enough for the host operating system.

Based on the Intel processors listed on Wikipedia, any of the 12th gen i5 models should work. Now it's about choosing the right system or finding one that supports an upgrade to the same socket!
RAM isn't a big concern since upgrading it is quite simple. The 64GB in the Mini PC has been reliable so far! 😊

I'd consider comparing the i7 and i5 models, though it might be feasible.
It really comes down to how those virtual machines are intended to use them.

I have identical needs (US Based), purchased the ultimate Minipc setup but cannot see in the bios that the machine supports RAID. Looking for 4TB, RAID1, lots of memory. Intend to use it as a small office server and need a compact design suitable for a small shelf. Want to enable RAID1 if one drive fails, ensuring quick backup for a small office environment.
Current configuration:
Asus Minipc PN64-E1
x2 WD 4TB nvme M.2
x2 Crucial 48GB = 96GB DDR5 SODIMM
Assembled together, bios shows x2 4000GB and 96GB RAM, but no RAID option visible.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
