I'm experiencing an issue where Steam loses access to my second drive. I've assigned the secondary Steam library folder to that drive, but it doesn't recognize it as a library. I need to manually add it as a new location, and Steam should detect the second drive as an external. I found some guides on mounting the drive permanently, but none explain this specific setup. If anyone has a resource or tips on this, it would be really helpful. Also, I'm using Manjaro XFCE with Thunar.
Visit the Fstab documentation page for guidance on adding entries.
You can also utilize Gnome Disk Utility. Choose the partition you wish to mount. Click the gear icon and choose "edit mount options." Check the box for mounting at system startup. If your NTFS partition is intended for a Steam library, you may need to manually configure the filesystem as ntfs-3g.
The Gnome Disk Utility appears to be disabled for all functions, possibly due to not using Gnome. The partition type is ext4.
It shouldn't be an issue using it with KDE, Sway and i3. Could you provide a screenshot? Also, please back up the original fstab file so you can restore it if needed.
