I purchased a Dell t1700 with Windows 7 preinstalled plus a license for Windows 8.1. I installed them and am using it now. How can I locate the exact license codes for both versions? Please let me know. Cheers, DZA

It's concealed within your system settings. Certain profiles display the access points, while others omit them. When unavailable, you can utilize this tool to see them: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/product_cd_key_viewer.html

Download and execute the Belarc Advisor on Advisor.com. It provides a webpage where you can store all details, including hardware and software serial numbers.

Some tools in the hacking world can extract your key from a running operating system. For many situations, OEM versions of Windows 7 employ a SLIC inserted into the BIOS to make Windows believe it’s always enabled.

It seems a little uncertain, but I assure you it's genuine: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/product_cd_key_viewer.html The same developer behind bluescreenviewer.
